What we do?

EastRev organizes, promotes and  produces benefit shows to raise money for any organization, collectives, movements, Leftist political parties that advocate Animal Liberation, Anarchism, Anti-Globalization of Capitalism, Anti-Imperialism, Equality, Peace, Justice, a Social Change. As well as shows to unify the punk scene in the North East and help touring bands from the rest of the country and the world with the same ideals by promoting them, and giving them a place here in NYC and provide a safe space for our community.

EastRev was established on May 10th of 2006 with the idea to give growth to a more conscious scene as well as helping collectives, organizations, community centers and movements. In May 10th, 2006 EastRev started by producing and promoting the punk bands that emerged in the streets of New York, and New Jersey by organizing punk and benefit shows. Our main goal till this day is to develop a more conscious counter cultural scene that brings a diverse spectrum of musicians and people together from all over the world with collectives, organizations, community centers, and the left more broadly. We want to unite and promote the NYC and North East punk scene, touring bands from the rest of the country and around the world, and any other conscious musical movements. We offer a place for organizations to engage people at our shows and to set up their tables to bring people more awareness to the people in our scene about what is around them: war, inequality, social injustice, globalization, the unnecessary murder of innocent people and animals, corruption, racism, as well as much more.

    In 2009, EastRev took a major step forward in starting the Brooklyn underground. EastRev is currently part of underground, where we actively hold all types of shows in Brooklyn, NY.
