EastRev was established on May 10th of 2006 with the idea to give growth to a more conscious scene as well as helping collectives, organizations, community centers and movements. In 2006 EastRev started by helping out the punk bands that emerged in the streets of New York, and New Jersey by putting together punk and benefit shows. Our main goal till this day is to help out the NYC Punk scene as well as touring bands and any other conscious musical movements not to mention offering a place where organizations can set up their tables to bring more awareness to the people in our scene about what is around them: war, inequality, social injustice, globalization, the unnecessary murder of innocent people and animals, corruption, etc. We are currently part of The Lake underground Arts Space/Venue located in Brooklyn. Our shows are a place where we can show with our presence that there is still people trying to make a change. Action is everything.
